ECTOR COUNTY FELONY INDICTMENTS: May 13, 2019

The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on April 15, 2019. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.

 

ABANDON/ENDANGER CHILD

  • Monica Yvette Ochoa, 30, was indicted on a charge of abandoning or endangering a child with criminal negligence, a state jail felony.

 

ASSAULT

  • Eric Aguirre, 31, was indicted on a charge of assault by restricting airway (family violence), a third-degree felony.
  • Fredrick Hernandez Balcazar, 38, was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, both of which are second-degree felonies.
  • Terry Michael Cupell, 43, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
  • Joe Lozano, 19, was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, both of which are second-degree felonies.
  • Edward Mitchell, 19, was indicted on a charge of assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation (family violence), a third-degree felony.
  • Roanasionne Robinson, 21, was indicted on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, all of which are second-degree felonies.
  • Lisa Marie Subia, 30, was indicted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence) and possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, both of which are second-degree felonies; unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony; and theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
  • Alfredo Varela, 38, was indicted on charges of aggravated assault of a family member causing serious bodily injury, a first-degree felony; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony; and continuous violence against the family, a third-degree felony.

 

BAIL JUMPING

  • John Spencer George, 31, was indicted on two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Dekovan Iris Johnson, 27, was indicted on charges of bail jumping and failure to appear, a third-degree felony; and evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony.
  • Daniel Rodriquez Marquez, 34, was indicted on charges of bail jumping and failure to appear, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

 

BURGLARY

  • Atron Taylor, 42, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.

 

DEADLY WEAPON IN PENAL INSTITUTION

  • Steven Flores Garcia, 48, was indicted on a charge of deadly weapon in a penal institution, a third-degree felony.

 

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Robert Anthony Bowers Jr., 35, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Javier Martin Chavez, 42, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Judd Wicks Davis, 55, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Javier Gerardo Delacruz, 26, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • David Dominguez, 42, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Alberto Elorduy, 56, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • James Benjamin Haltom, 51, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • William Alan Hoyt, 59, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Adan Huerta, 36, was indicted on charges of driving while intoxicated, third or more; and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Fernando Guadalupe Morales, 36, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Lee Andrew Partain, 57, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.

 

EVADING ARREST

  • Camron N. Johnson, 20, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Tyriank’shon Johnson, 21, was indicted on charges of evading arrest with a vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Cristian Andrew Manriquez, 26, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.

 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

  • Brittany Leann Voorhies, 29, was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use of identifying information, a third-degree felony.

 

OBSTRUCTION/RETALIATION

  • Ruben Luis Rico, 29, was indicted on charges of obstruction or retaliation and harassment of a public servant, both of which are third-degree felonies; and criminal mischief, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000; and evading arrest with a previous conviction, both of which are state jail felonies.

 

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Hugo Castillo, 38, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Charles Michael Cox, 41, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • David Garcia, 22, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Jose Alberto Lopez, 40, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Taylor Joe McCarty, 21, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Mark Dwayne Moya, 46, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Adrian Lewis Nunez, 29, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Johnny Chris Tarango, 48, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Benito Vega, 29, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Rodolfo Villegas Jr., 43, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Amanda Marie Williford, 27, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Jesus Gutierrez, 50, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
  • Judy Marie Hoffman, 3/83, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
  • Michael James Holly, 53, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
  • Damian Manriquez Lujan, 19, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
  • Shyan Michael Spykes, 29, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams; and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Benjamin Valenzuela, 39, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams; and evading arrest with a vehicle, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Dean Allan Womack, 43, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
  • Jesus Auden Estrella, 46, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
  • Melford Wayne Foust, 46, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony; and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.
  • Antonio Jesus Hernandez, 44, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
  • Lorena Janeth Torres, 24, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.

 

ROBBERY

  • Jeremy Justino Pinedo, 24, was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
  • Devin Ray Simpson, 19, was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.

 

SEX ASSAULT OF CHILD

  • Irving Holcomb, 32, was indicted on two counts of sexual assault of a child, both of which are second-degree felonies; and a charge of abandoning or endangering a child with criminal negligence, a state jail felony.
  • Francisco Rodriguez, 30, was indicted on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.

 

TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE

  • Jodi Teal Owens, 53, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

  • Frank Alan Lopez, 18, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.

 

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM

  • Darlin Lamar Emory, 31, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.       
  • Presley Lopez, 27, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.
