VisitMidland and the Bush Family Home invites you to the Bush Bus Tour Reveal Party, which will be held on May 7 at the Bush Family Home State Historic Site. Staff has compiled a list of sites around Midland that includes the different Bush Family homes, offices, and other Bush related sites. This list can be used as a self-guided tour around Midland or as a guided tour with the educators at the Bush Home.
“If you really want to learn about the Bushes and set your foot where they stepped, this is a perfect resource for you,” Site Manager Troy Gray said in a news release.
Tickets for the Bush Reveal Party include a guided tour around Midland and the Bush Family Home, refreshments and 2 tickets for drinks. Each ticket is $25. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. and last until 7:30 p.m.
The guided tour will be great for school groups, for people in Midland for conferences, or historians who want to research the Bush Family. On the tour, Bush Family Home educators will tell stories that will touch your emotions, stories that will make you laugh, stories that will make you cry, and stories that will give more insights to the Bush Family.
The Bush Family Home joined the Texas Historical Commission in 2023 and is one of 38 sites in the state of Texas. Its normal operating hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; the last tour begins at 4:15 p.m.
