Three men were arrested Tuesday in Odessa and charged in connection to a counterfeit check investigation.
Lucas Monty Mansell, 29, Richard Kyle Hughes, 29, and Jerred Raymond Williams, 30, were arrested around 9:30 p.m. and charged with third-degree felony engaging in organized criminal activity. Mansell was also charged with third-degree felony tampering with government records.
An Odessa police release states that officers responded to Kwik Kash on Andrews Highway in reference to a counterfeit check report, where officers made contact with the three men.
The release states that investigation revealed that Mansell was also in possession of a fraudulent identification card.
