The Permian boys basketball team defeated rivals Odessa High 95-61 Friday on Senior Night at Permian Fieldhouse.
Playing in the second-to-last District 2-6A game, the Panthers moved to 22-9 overall, 7-2 in district and remains in second place.
The Panthers will face district champions Wolfforth Frenship (26-4, 9-0) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on the road to close out the regular season.
The Tigers clinched the 2-6A title with a 57-49 win over San Angelo Central Friday on the road.
Odessa High (7-25, 0-9) remains in last place in the district standings.
