Alexander Delgado

March 11 Odessa police arrested 20-year-old Alexander Delgado and charged him with assault (family violence) with prior convictions, a third-degree felony; and resisting arrest, a class A misdemeanor. Officers responded at 11:45 a.m. March 11 to the 500 block of Amburgey Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. Police made contact with a 15-year-old girl her cousin identified as Delgado. Investigation revealed that after both subjects got into an argument, Delgado grabbed the girl’s arm, causing multiple red marks on her right arm and scratch marks on her right hand. Delgado refused to comply with officers’ commands and pulled away with his arms under his body. He continued to resist arrest but was eventually placed into custody. Further Investigation revealed that Delgado had two prior convictions for family violence. Delgado, 502 N. Amburgey Ave., was being held March 21 at the Ector County Detention Center on $17,500 bond.
