March 10 Odessa police arrested 30-year-old Donald Crowder III and charged him with driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony. Officers pulled over a white Ford F-150, driven by Crowder, in the 100 block of South Dixie Boulevard at 9:23 a.m. March 10. Police made contact with Crowder and could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. Crowder failed field sobriety tests. Investigation revealed Crowder had two prior convictions for driving while intoxicated. Crowder, 165 S. Sir Barton Ave., was released March 15 from the Ector County Detention Center on $15,000 bond.
