TXCPA Permian Basin announces new officers and awards

DALLAS Midland-based certified public accountant Derby Gallo has been elected 2022-2023 president of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) Permian Basin Chapter.

Gallo is currently self-employed and serves as a tax professional at Derby Gallo, CPA.

Odessa-based CPA Catherine Speer, audit partner at Whitley Penn, was named president-elect of the chapter.

Joining Gallo and Speer on the chapter’s leadership team are:

>> John Michael Jaramillo, CPA, Weaver

>> Secretary/treasurer, Meredith McKeehan, CPA, Weaver

TXCPA Permian Basin, a chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, has been serving TXCPA members since 1949.
