DALLAS Midland-based certified public accountant Derby Gallo has been elected 2022-2023 president of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) Permian Basin Chapter.
Gallo is currently self-employed and serves as a tax professional at Derby Gallo, CPA.
Odessa-based CPA Catherine Speer, audit partner at Whitley Penn, was named president-elect of the chapter.
Joining Gallo and Speer on the chapter’s leadership team are:

The chapter now serves more than 500 members in Borden, Crane, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Kent, Loving, Martin, Midland, Mitchell, Pecos, Reagan, Reeves, Scurry, Sterling, Terrell, Upton, Ward and Winkler counties.
