The City of Odessa has completed a traffic signal warrant study for the intersection of Faudree Road & P Bar Ranch Road, a press release stated.
This intersection warrants the installation of a traffic signal. The traffic signal design is complete and the project will go to bid, with an anticipated City Council project award at the end of May 2022.
Construction of the traffic signal is several months away with a lead time shipment of the signal poles. In anticipation of the traffic signal, stop signs will be installed to make the intersection an all-way stop.
With the increased amount of traffic on Faudree Road and the congestion of traffic on P Bar Ranch Road at peak times, these added stop signs will help control the flow of traffic and make exiting the neighborhood easier. The stop signs will be installed on April 29, 2022.
