Odessa High graduate Gabrielle Marquez was officially named as the head coach of the Fort Stockton volleyball program during a special school board meeting Monday.
Marquez will teach middle school physical education.
The former Lady Broncho graduated in 2012 and continued her playing career at Odessa College, where she was named an all-conference player during the 2012 season.
Marquez spent the 2020 season an assistant volleyball coach at Midland Christian.
