The Odessa Jackalopes have hired Todd Watson as the next head coach, the team announced Monday.
Watson, 52, previously coached in the Ontario Hockey League with the Saginaw Spirit and the Plymouth Whalers as well as in the NAHL with the Detroit Compuware Ambassadors.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Watson replaces Greg Gatto, who resigned at the end of the season.
