Crews with the Midland Fire Department responded to a fire at the Fairmont Condos in the 4700 block of Boulder Drive Saturday at approximately 4:40 p.m.
Fire investigators believe the fire started in the second floor apartment and spread to the unit beneath. A total of 8 units are affected by the fire with electricity cut to all apartments and smoke affecting all 8 units, a news release said.
No injuries were reported.
So far four families have been notified accounting for 5 adults and one child. Red Cross has been notified to assist families in need.
