Maria Rios

March 20 Odessa police arrested 35-year-old Maria Rios and charged her with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a third-degree felony; public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor; and for 10 outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers responded at 2:30 p.m. March 20 to the 3500 block of Oakwood Drive in reference to a medical call. Dispatch advised that a subject was passed out in the complex. Police made contact with an intoxicated woman, identified as Rios, and investigation revealed that she had 10 outstanding warrants. Rios was found to be in possession of two grams of methamphetamine. Rios, address unknown, was released March 21 from the Ector County Detention Center on $7,500 bond.
