Bonniest Knees Judges Kris Moore, Tammy Dooley and Jonna Smoot take their blind-folds off to meet one of the contest participants, third from left, at the Midland Scottish-Irish Faire. Judging consists of a tactile perusal of the Celtic-clad gents from the ankles to the knees while the judges are blindfolded. Judging is entirely subjective and each judge had their own wacky criteria, from best placement of leather, knife concealment, overall leg scarring and fitness to whether or not they’d used a lotion that day.
