Two former Odessans were recognized at the Heritage of Odessa Foundation 2017 Community Statesmen and Distinguished Former Odessan Awards dinner Thursday at the MCM Grandé Hotel and FunDome. Richard Wortham, left, a beef promotion and education specialist in Leander, and Josh T. Franco, the Latino collections specialist for the Archives of American Art at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., are this year’s honorees.
