April 8 Odessa police arrested 35-year-old Brandon Lewis for an outstanding felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony. Officers pulled over a gray 2006 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by Lewis, in the 2700 block of East Eighth Street at 12:06 p.m. April 8. Police made contact with Lewis, and investigation revealed he had a felony warrant out of Midland County for possession of a controlled substance. Lewis, 2530 N. Dixie Blvd., was being held April 11 at the Ector County Detention Center on $40,000 bond.
