Tim Thorstad, right, details a B-25J Mitchell in preparation for it’s tour flights the weekend Wednesday at the High Sky Wing. This aircraft flew fifteen combat missions from Seraggia Airport on the island of Corsica in November and December 1944 with 13 missions over Italy and two over Yugoslavia. The aircraft later became an aerial pest spray aircraft. It eventually arrived at the then Arizona Wing of the CAF and was in restoration for almost 29 years until her first flight in May 2009.
