The UTPB soccer team got its first win of the season, scoring all three goals in the second half in the Falcons’ 3-0 win over Schreiner Friday at Falcon Field.
After a scoreless first half, UTPB (1-2-1) found the back of the net courtesy of a Ty Jones goal in the 55th minute before Maria Tarrago doubled the lead in the 71st minute.
Tatiana Leggiero made it 3-0 with her 86th minute goal and the Falcons managed to get the clean sheet.
UTPB had 21 shots total, with 13 on target while Schreiner (0-5-0) had four and three on target.
