The UTPB women’s basketball team will be playing in the NCAA Division II tournament for the first time since 2013.
UTPB was selected as the No. 4 seed in the South Central Region Sunday night after finishing runner-up at the Lone Star Conference tournament earlier in the day.
The Falcons (24-7) will face Adams State (24-8) out of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Friday at Kitty Magee Arena in Denton at Texas Woman’s University.
The time of the game has yet to be announced.
Lone Star Conference regular season and tournament champion Texas Woman’s University is the No. 1 seed.
