WEATHERFORD The Odessa College women’s basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the Region 5 tournament after an 85-57 win over Temple College Wednesday in Weatherford.
The Lady Wranglers (27-3 overall, 13-1 in WJCAC) were led in scoring by Ivana Krajina’s 24 points while Sarengbe Sanogo and Juliet Escomchukwu each had 12 and Tia Shelling finished with nine points.
Temple College (23-6, 10-6) was led by Camile Pritchard’s 17 points Evelyn Lorenzo had 15 and Wilashia Burleson finished with 12 points.
Odessa College will face the winner of Clarendon College-McLennan at 3 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
