A 38-year-old Odessa man was booked into the Ector County jail Wednesday on a felony warrant after a 13-year-old said he repeatedly molested her from July 2023 through last month.
According to an Odessa Police Department report, the girl told a forensic examiner at the Midland Rape Crisis and Children’s Advocacy Center on March 1 that Robert Jimenez cornered her in various areas of her home on multiple occasions and touched her inappropriately while sexually aroused and breathing uncontrollably.
Jimenez later told medical staff he had, in fact, touched the girl inappropriately, the report stated. The name of the medical facility was redacted from the report.
Jimenez was arrested on suspicion of indecency with a child/sexual contact, a second-degree felony.
He was released from the jail after posting a $40,000 surety bond.
