The Sherwood 13U Intermediate All-Stars team picked up convincing victories over the Midland Northern All-Stars to win the Intermediate 50/70 Texas West District 3 title Saturday at Bill Williams Sports Complex in Midland.
Sherwood won two games against Midland Northern, taking Game 1 by a 17-1 score.
The Odessa team was down by a 13-3 score in the bottom of the fifth in Game 2 before coming back to win the contest 14-13.
Those victories set Sherwood up to compete at sectionals July 1-3 in New Home, with times still being decided for those matchups.
