LUBBOCK The Permian girls soccer team was victorious on the road Tuesday, taking down Lubbock Coronado 4-2 at Coronado High School.
Jaden Sosa opened the scoring for the Lady Panthers in the 20th minute, with Joanna Mendoza adding a pair of strikes in the 47th and 64th minutes. Kyree Moreno scored Permian’s other goal in the 60th minute.
Permian improved to 9-1-1 with the win. Lauren Simmons got the win in net with four saves.
