FORT WORTH The Odessa High girls soccer team knew it’d be facing stiff competition in the National Elite Prep Showcase to kick off its season, and it’s gotten just that.
The Lady Bronchos started their season Thursday afternoon with a 3-0 win over Antonian with goals from Gia Nunez, Ashley Venegas and Jamie Natividad. Catalina Ulate kept the shutout in net with four saves.
Odessa High suffered its first loss of the season Friday morning with a 7-1 loss to Ursaline, then capped Friday with a 2-1 loss to Hockaday.
