HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER: Permian clinches district title

SAN ANGELO The Permian boys soccer team clinched the District 2-6A title with Tuesday night at San Angelo Central.

The Panthers defeated the Bobcats 6-5 in the shootout after both teams ended regulation tied at 1-1.

The Panthers managed to win the district title with one game to spare.

Permian will close out the regular season against Midland High at 7:30 p.m. Friday at home.
