HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Permian’s Sewell names top five schools

Permian’s Harris Sewell is now considering five schools to continue his playing career at the collegiate level.

Ranked 65th on the Class of 2023’s ESPN 300, Sewell held offers from various programs across the country.

He narrowed his list down to Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.

The versatile offensive lineman spent time at right guard and center for the Panthers this season, helping Permian reach the area round of the 2021 Class 6A playoffs.

Sewell has visited each of his top-five programs, recently spending time at Clemson on April 4 according to his Twitter.

The junior received honorable mention recognition on the Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 6A All-State Team and was a 2021 first-team All-District 2-6A selection.
