The Odessa High boys basketball team got a balanced effort on offense in its 72-57 victory against Midland High in District 2-6A play Friday at the OHS Fieldhouse.
Coco Rose led the Bronchos with a game-high 18 points, while Ivan Carreon finished with 17.
Jaylen McCowan and LJ Willis each chipped in 11 points to the victory.
Odessa High improved to 24-7 overall, 8-3 in district and moved into a tie for second with Permian.
The Bronchos were dominant from long range, connecting on 13 3-pointers.
London Rickett led Midland High (6-22, 0-12) with 10 points as the Bulldogs’ ended their season.
