MIDLAND Odessa High held on for a 60-59 victory against Midland High in District 2-6A boys basketball Friday at Midland High.
It is the second one-point victory for the Bronchos in their past three district games, having defeated rival Permian 50-49 on Jan. 27 at the Permian Fieldhouse.
Jtorian Deary-Johnson scored 17 points to lead the Bronchos (19-12 overall, 4-3 in district), who now are in a three-way tie with Midland High and San Angelo Central for third in the district standings, with three games remaining.
Naledge Jenkins added 14 points and Ivan Carreon finished with 12 in the victory.
