HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Andrews, Seminole dominate superlatives on All-District 2-4A team

Brock Tijerina, Raleigh Clark and Hagen Tuck led the way for the Andrews baseball team as part of the All-District 2-4A team that was released this week.

Tijerina was named most valuable player, Clark was recognized as pitcher of the year and Tuck was named offensive player of the year.

Seminole also had a strong showing in the superlative awards, with Cuyler Cramer being named defensive player of the year and Rowin Donaldson being named newcomer of the year.

Andrews was this year’s district champion, advancing to the area round of the Class 4A playoffs.

The Mustangs led the district with seven first-team selections, followed by Seminole (six) and Fort Stockton (five).
