ABILENE The Permian girls soccer team was overwhelmed as Southlake Carroll earned a 6-0 victory in a Class 6A regional quarterfinal playoff game Friday at Shotwell Stadium.
The Lady Dragons scored less than five minutes into the game and took a 3-0 lead into the halftime break.
The Lady Panthers finished the season 14-6-3, advancing to the matchup with victories against El Paso Americas (bi-district) and Keller Timber Creek (area).
