Final homestand
The UTPB women’s and men’s basketball teams play their final two home games of the 2022-23 season beginning at 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
The women will open the Lone Star Conference doubleheader against UT Tyler at 5:15 p.m. at the Falcon Dome, with the men’s game scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
UTPB’s women’s team will be back in action at 1 p.m. Saturday against Texas Woman’s, with the men hosting Dallas Baptist at 3 p.m.
On the road
The Odessa College men’s basketball team travels to face New Mexico Military Institute at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Cahoon Armory in Roswell, N.M.
The Wranglers (23-2 overall, 10-1 in Western Junior C0llege Athletic Conference) dropped from No. 2 in the nation to No. 4 after losing at Clarendon College last week.
This is the last of four consecutive road games for Odessa College, which will be back home Monday to host rival Midland College.
