CASPER, WYO. The Odessa College rodeo team has a few competitors contending for spots in the short-go of the College National Finals Rodeo.
Maddy Dickens is in second place in the barrel racing after three performances. She’s two-tenths behind Texas Tech’s Kynzie McNeill for the top spot.
In bareback riding, BoDell Jessen sits in ninth place. Wyatt Johnson, who scored higher than a 70 on each of his first two rides, could advance with a strong score in his final attempt.
The top 12 competitors in each event after three rounds advance to the short-go. Barely missing the cut was steer wrestler Ty Allred, who finished in 13th place after a no score on one run.
