The UTPB volleyball team swept Cameron in a Lone Star Conference game Friday at Falcon Dome.
The Falcons moved to 11-4 overall and 2-2 in conference while Cameron fell to 3-14, 0-5.
UTPB won by scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.
UTPB’s Cassandra Rother had 12 kills, two aces and one block while Chyra Thompson had eight kills, six blocks and Mya Black had five kills and one block.
Cameron’s Paris Patterson had 10 kills to lead her team while Caitlyn Henderson had six and Trinity Maldonado had five.
UTPB will turn around and face the defending NCAA Division II national champion West Texas A&M at 2 p.m. Saturday at Falcon Dome.
