The UTPB volleyball team ended up losing to defending national champion West Texas A&M in four sets Saturday at Falcon Dome.
The Lady Buffs (15-2, overall, 5-1 in conference) won by scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16.
UTPB fell to 11-5, 2-3.
The Lady Buffs were led by Torrey Miller who had 20 kills while Emma Becker had 12 and Camy Jones had eight.
UTPB’s Logan Terrazas had 12 kills to lead the team while Stephanie Sanchez had nine and Gloria Geurin had eight.
The Falcons will be back in action with a 6 p.m. game Monday against Western New Mexico at Falcon Dome.
