HOBBS, N.M. The Odessa College volleyball team put together a strong effort on the first day of the New Mexico Junior College Invitational Friday in Hobbs, N.M.
In their first match of the day, the Lady Wranglers defeated Colby College, 25-23, 12-25, 25-15, 25-19.
Odessa College made it a perfect day with a straight-set victory against Otero College, 25-19, 25-22, 27-25.
The Lady Wranglers return to the court at 10 a.m. when they face Eastern Wyoming.
