WEATHERFORD The Odessa College volleyball team is heading to the NJCAA tournament after defeating New Mexico Junior College in five sets to take the second place finish in the Region 5 Tournament Saturday.
The Lady Wranglers won by scores of 19-25, 25-18, 27-25, 23-25, 15-9 and improved to 28-6 for the season.
It will be the first trip back to the NJCAA tournament for the Lady Wranglers since the 2021 spring season.
The national tournament will take place at Hutchinson Sports Arena in Hutchinson, Kan. from Nov. 15-18.
