The Odessa College softball team had little to no trouble in sweeping Howard College Friday afternoon in front of a packed house at Wrangler Stadium.
The Lady Wranglers won by scores of 13-1 and 13-0, both run-rule victories and improving to 38-4 overall.
In Game 1, the Lady Wranglers took an eight-run lead in the first inning and didn’t look back. Howard College’s one run came in the fourth.
Odessa College pitcher Rayna Cruickshanks took the win in the circle.
In Game 2, the Lady Wranglers put up nine runs in the fourth inning and the Hawks couldn’t get anything going.
Emily Brouse took the victory for the Lady Wranglers in Game 2.
Both teams will be back out Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.
