WILLOW PARK The Odessa College golf team carded a final-round 3-under-par 281 to close out a wire-to-wire victory at the NJCAA District 2 Championship Tuesday at Squaw Creek Club.
The Wranglers (286-290-281—857) earned a 17-shot victory against Midland College (874), with Ranger College (887) finishing third.
Odessa College’s Will Adams (70-69-70—209) won the individual title by two shots over teammate Sangha Park (69-74-68—211) and Kittiphong Phaithuncharoensuk (72-72-67—211) of Ranger College.
Adams, Park, Marcelo Garza (sixth) and Jaden Chavez (12th) all earned All-District honors.
Next up for the Wranglers is the NJCAA Division I National Championship, May 10-13, at the Rawls Course in Lubbock.
