COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Falcons host Midwestern State in LSC matchup

The UTPB football team returns home against Midwestern State University at 6 p.m. Saturday at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland.

The Falcons (3-4 overall, 2-3 in Lone Star Conference) come into the matchup off a 13-10 loss last week at No. 15-ranked Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Midwestern State (3-4, 2-3) made the trip to the Pacific Northwest last week, losing 17-10 to Central Washington in Ellensburg, Wash.

Wide receiver MJ Link is a catalyst for the UTPB offense with 42 receptions for 599 yards and seven touchdowns, with all three mark placing him second in the conference.
