COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Wranglers’ season ends with loss to Indian Hills

Hutchinson, KAN. The Odessa College men’s basketball team came up short against Indian Hills College, losing 74-68 in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Tournament Wednesday at Hutch Sports Arena.

With the loss, the Wranglers’ season comes to an end.

Odessa College finished the season at 26-9.

No. 5 seed Indian Hills advances to the semifinals to face No. 1 seed Barton Community College.

Willie Lightfoot led the team in scoring with 23 points while Brandon Maclin had 17.

Indian Hills was led by TJ Morris who had 19 points while Chris Mpaka had 16 and Trevion LaBeaux finished with 13 points.

It’s the second year in a row that Indian Hills has eliminated Odessa College in the quarterfinals.
