COLLEGE BASKETBALL: UTPB looks to end two-game skid

The UTPB men’s basketball team will look to snap a two-game skid when it hosts Dallas Baptist at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Falcon Dome.

The Falcons are coming off an 84-73 loss to St. Mary’s on the road Monday, which marked their first stumble in Lone Star Conference play on the season.

Before falling against Angelo State and St. Mary’s, UTPB was on a five-game winning streak that included its first victory in league play against St. Edward’s.

After hosting Dallas Baptist, the Falcons will go up against Midwestern State at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Falcon Dome.

UTPB (9-5 overall, 1-1 conference) is led by Jordan Horn, who is averaging 16.7 points per game.

DaJuan Jones paces the Falcons in assists, averaging 8.2 per game.
