LAWTON, OKLA. DaJuan Jones had a game-high 20 points and 11 assists to lead UTPB to an 85-77 victory against Cameron University in Lone Star Conference play Thursday at the Aggie Gym.
Kendal Frey added 17 point, Lemmie Howard finished with 13 and Quinntez Grimes chipped in 12 as the Falcons (10-7 overall, 2-4 in conference) stopped a four-game losing streak.
Jordan Horn pulled in a game-high 10 rebounds for UTPB.
Colt Savage had 15 points to lead Cameron, with Connor Slater finishing with 13 in the loss.
Grimes tied the game, 72-72, in the final minute of regulation to force the extra period.
UTPB scored the first five points of overtime on baskets by Miles Daniels and Jones and never looked back.
The Falcons continue their road trip against West Texas A&M at 4 p.m. Saturday in Canyon.
