COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Falcons set for rebound efforts in San Antonio

The UTPB women’s and men’s basketball teams look to snap one-game losing streaks when they travel to face St. Mary’s on Saturday in San Antonio.

The women’s game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start in Greehey Arena.

Alexus Quaadman led the Falcons with 20 points and 11 rebounds in a 61-55 loss against St. Edward’s Thursday in Austin.

The men’s team is scheduled for a 3 p.m. start after dropping a 68-61 decision against the Hilltoppers on Thursday.

Max Warren led the Falcons with 20 points.

 

Show them the money

The UTPB athletics department announced Friday that all home baseball and softball games will be ticketed.

Students with a valid ID will be admitted free.

The school has several programs for those wishing to watch the games, with single-game tickets at $5 for 13-years old and up.
