The City of Odessa in partnership with the Ector County Independent School District hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of Casa Bella Park Monday afternoon in Odessa. To commemorate the event as part of ECISD’s 100th anniversary, 5th grade students from Dowling and Burnet elementary schools broke the ground following short speeches from Director of the City of Odessa Parks and Recreation Department Steve Patton, Chairman of the Odessa Parks Foundation Brett Felker, District 3 City Councilwoman Detra White and Superintendent of ECISD Scott Muri.
