The Black Cultural Council of Odessa hosted their “An Evening with the Stars” Scholarship Banquet Saturday night at the Marriot Hotel and Conference Center. Korey Bass, Cedric Baty, Eric Jamahr Brooks, Calvione Calicutt, Amaariya Green, Amora Green, Alexis Lampton, Brookelynn Pruitt, Tereia Steward and Kanazeya Williams were named as the BCCO’s 2022 Stars and each presented with awards, stoles and a $1,000 scholarship to the school of their choice.
