Faith Bernabe will be one of the contestants performing at this year’s Odessa’s Got Talent.
The event is a fundraiser for the Permian Basin Mission Center and will take place at 7:30 p.m. June 17 at the Ector Theatre.

Originally I am from the Philippines but I live in Odessa for 12 years now
Why did you decide to try out to Odessa’s Got Talent?
Honestly this is the first time that I will be joining the competition. When I found out that the competition would benefit one of our local organizations, I said to myself why not. This competition will not only help our community but also share my passion for music with a good cause.
Have you auditioned for OGT previously or been a prior contestant? (If so, when?)
Yes. I was one of the finalists from last year’s competition.
Do you regularly perform anywhere? If so, when and where?
Yes. leading worship and playing musical instruments at Grace Christian Fellowship.
Any other awards or honors for your talents?
Solo guitar competition gold medal champion, first place vocalist in college days. first place vocal duets in national championship competition.
Anything else you would like to share?
I released 3 albums all original songs and music. The 3rd album is still available in iTunes Store and Spotify. I started playing guitar when I was 8 and wrote my first song when I was 13.
