Midland Legacy student Alessandra Lagpacan was recently informed this week by Congressman August Pfluger (Tx-11) that she has received a full offer appointment form the U.S. Naval Academy, a press release stated.
The release said that Lagpacan is a first generation American and current senior at Midland Legacy High School and that “her heart has been set on serving as a pilot in the U.S. military since elementary school—when she attended a Veterans Day ceremony.”
Lagpacan is one of many candidates from the 11th District of Texas who, after applying for nominations through Congressman Pfluger’s office, received appointments to U.S. service academies.
