AGC of Texas PAC and Phelan team up to endorse Landgraf

The Associated General Contractors of Texas PAC have teamed up with Speaker Dade Phelan to support State Representative Brooks Landgraf (R-Odessa) in the race for House District 81, a news release said Tuesday.

The release said that the AGC of Texas PAC is contributing $10,000 to Landgraf’s campaign and Phelan is matching AGC of Texas PAC’s contribution for a combined total of $20,000.

“Brooks Landgraf has demonstrated an unmatched zeal for representing the values of House District 81 and West Texas,” Phelan said in the press release. “Brooks has been instrumental in helping improve roads, schools, and the way of life for West Texans. He is also an advocate for the oil and gas industry in the Permian Basin. Brooks is a proven leader in the Texas House, and his work as Chairman of the Environmental Regulation Committee has had a positive impact on businesses and jobs across the state. I am proud to support Brooks in his re-election to HD 81.”

“Brooks Landgraf has been a steadfast champion for safe and reliable infrastructure in West Texas,” AGC of Texas President-Elect Stacey Bryant said in the press release. “No one has worked harder to ensure West Texas has the tools needed to keep up with the growing demand on our energy sector roads and bridges. Rep. Landgraf has worked tirelessly to support critically needed transportation infrastructure in Texas, and the tens of thousands of jobs the construction industry provides for hard-working Texans. AGC of Texas and its members are proud to support Brooks Landgraf and look forward to his continued service in the Texas House of Representatives.”
