San Angelo man killed in Midland County wreck

A 30-year-old San Angelo man was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 68-year-old Midland man was traveling southwest on Tom Craddick Highway in a Chevrolet Silverado and Ario Pela Fine, 30, of San Angelo was traveling northwest on County Road 60 in a Kia Optima when he failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and was struck on the right side at around 4:15 a.m..

Fine, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at Midland Memorial Hospital. The other driver, who was also wearing a seat belt, was taken to the same hospital in stable condition.
