A press release from the Ector County Republican Women’s Club detailed a coalition of local Republican Party organizations are set to host a candidate forum for Texas Governor and Attorney General on Tuesday at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the program begins with the first round of candidates at 6 p.m. and will conclude at 8 p.m. Tickets are still available and range from $7 to $20.
The press release stated that confirmed candidates running for Governor of Texas include Allen West, Don Huffines, and Chad Prather. Candidates running for Attorney General include George P Bush, Louie Gohmert, and Eva Guzman. All candidates running in the Republican Primary were invited to attend.
This event is being hosted by a collaborative effort of local Republican Party organizations, and all proceeds will go towards covering the cost of the event.
Ector County Republican Women’s Club President Rachel Minor released the following
statement: “We are so excited to host the candidates seeking to represent our great state and hope West Texans will join us in this amazing opportunity to learn more about the issues, where they all stand, so that we may all be well informed before early voting in the March 1 Republican Primary begins.”
