UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH DAY

Several UTPB students will come together to present their research projects to their peers, faculty, and community members from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the UTPB Library.

This year projects include everything from 3D printing, to ALS disease models, and even doll making.

NINTH ANNUAL LINKS WEST TEXAS HOLD’EM

Odessa Links has scheduled the ninth annual West Texas Hold’em fundraiser at 6 p.m. today at Dos Amigos, 4700 N. Golder Ave.

URGENT NEED OF BABY ITEMS

The Crisis Center of West Texas needs baby items.

Items needed include: strollers (single and double), diapers (sizes 4, 5 and 6), kids OTC medicine, bottle cleaners, sippy cups, bottles, pull ups and wipes.

Donations may be dropped off at the center at 910-B S. Grant Ave., during business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

The Permian Basin Rehab Center’s annual Telethon will take place Saturday and Sunday and will be live on NewsWest 9.
